As a Project Manager in the commercial construction industry, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful completion of various construction projects.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in a wide range of projects, including office remodels, tenant improvements, retail, hospitality, healthcare, multi-family, and commercial construction.
Responsibilities:
Managing all phases of the construction project lifecycle from inception to completion.
Overseeing the planning, budgeting, and direction of construction projects.
Ensuring quality control measures are met and exceeded.
Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
Monitoring the progress of projects and making necessary adjustments to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
Reviewing and approving change orders, ensuring they are properly documented and communicated.
Liaising with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure all parties are satisfied with the project's progress and outcome.
Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
Reporting project status to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
Proven experience in managing commercial construction projects, including office remodels, tenant improvements, retail, hospitality, healthcare, multi-family, and commercial construction.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in budgeting, project management, and quality control.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in using project management software tools.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
Certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) are a plus.
