EDUCATION TRAINING EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATIONS A minimum of 1 year current physician office or clinic experience working as a clinical medical assistant Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program Prefer a current MA credential upon hire, e.

, CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), NCMA, etc.
, upon hire High school diploma or GED equivalent Current Healthcare Provider CPR (prefer AHA) Excellent communication skills and detailed understanding of patient care Attention to detail, organized, and the ability to multi-task
Essential Functions:
Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients.
Vital signs, patient history and medication reconciliation Administer injections including immunizations Maintains a patient recall system, including continuity of care log for lab tests, referrals and transfers.
Obtains vital signs, and reports significant findings and pertinent patient observations to clinic physician.
Performs audiometry and vision testing.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
